Here's to CUE

I do love telling stories, and although you probably don't like listening to my stories as they are often long-winded and even more often, pointless, I'm going to tell you one anyway.

So Jes, another friend and I had planned to go see a movie the other day. In case you were wondering, it was New Year's Eve and I can't say I recommend that you watch it. Actually, don't watch it. Anyway, the two of them had to do something at Myer and I had some Christmas Shopping to do so I left them at the Cue section of the store. Then...

Bam!

I saw a dress.

It was emerald green, satiny, strapless, kind of amazing in general and had me staring at it for a good 5 minutes. Once I'd managed to tear my eyes away from the spectacle that was that amazing emerald dress, I started checking out the other amazing things at Cue. Basically I was drooling for another half and hour or so because CUE'S SUMMER LINE IS INCREDIBLE!! It is actually so, so, so, so, so nice that I was quite taken aback. My wonderful experience was made even better (if possible) by the fact that the lady who served me was as delightful as the following image:

(I love penguins.)

I suddenly remembered I had relevant shopping to do within about an hour (a tough ask for me) and had to scuttle off. He he he, scuttle. I was pretty quick to finish off ze shopping and yes, I was back at Cue. For another 20 minutes or so.

That's my story.

So after putting you through that, I suppose I should actually show you some pictures of these amazing clothes..

The first thing I was rather impressed with were the natural/earthy/clay/terracotta tones popping up around the store:

Terracotta Pants- $225 & Stripe Sleeveless Shirt-$129Pink Sleeveless Jacket- $220 & Pink Shorts- $169Clay Sleeveless Soft Shirt Dress- $185

Again, I'm really surprised with how much I like these! Usually I'm a little iffy about the earthy tones, particularly browns, but I love this one!!!

Powder blue is another colour which is rather pleasing to the eye, and is also featured in a couple of CUE ensembles:

Blue Layered Soft Blouse- $179Blue Overlay Dress- $225

I don't even know which one of those I like better...

And a little something for those neutral lovers out there:

Big Spot Dress- $249Little Spot Sleeveless Dress- $260White Sleeveless Shirt Dress- $279

How lovely are these clothes? Seriously?

I must also note that pretty much everything made by the brand is made here in Australia AND they work with Ethical Clothing Australia AND they are the winner of the 2011 Best Australian Fashion Brand as part of the Prix de Marie Claire Awards.

It makes filling your wardrobe with these delights even better, doesn't it?

So my final beautiful image for you, is rather spectactular.

It is a skirt.

A printed skirt to be precise.

A printed skirt with cherries.

CHERRIES!!!

Black Sleeveless Shirt-$99 & Cherry Print Skirt $169

GAHHH!!!! I ate a really nice cherry the other day (cool story, I know) and this is a really nice skirt!

Jes, please please please please please please please buy this for me!!!

Pretty please??

... With a cherry on top? :P

You knew it was coming...
